Sunway lagoon officially
opened in April 1993 and has become the most visited
tourist destination in Malaysia. Covering over 80 acres
sunway lagoon is separated into 5 different theme park
each offering different thrills for the young and young
at heart. The five theme parks are as follows, 1.
Extreme park, 2. Amusement park, 3. Water Park, 4.
Wildlife Park and # 5 is the Scream Park.
Park hours are from 11.00 am - 6.00pm 6 days per week.
The park is closed on Tuesday's for Maintenance.

note of the phone numbers and call to check if opened or
closed on the school holiday dates you are looking to
visit. I have had the occasion where the site mentioned
open 7 days over the school Holidays. This turned out to
be only over the local school holidays and not those
taken by international or Chinese schools. Better to
check than be annoyed.
Travelling to Sunway Lagoon from Junes apartment is as
easy as 1,2,3 ( 1
) Walk through the park to sentul train station, (
2 ) Catch
the train direct to Subang Jaya Station, (
3 ) Get off
the train & onto the free feeder bus that will take
you directly to Sunway Lagoon.
Please re visit the site and this page towards the end
of April as i hope to have this page completed with lots
of pictures from all the theme parks.

thus after the fun there is some serious shopping to be
done. I usually advise guests to plan on being out for
the whole day, even though the theme parks close at 6.00
pm by the time you are out it is probabaly closer to
6.30pm then dinner at one of the many restaurants within
the shopping center, and finally depending on how
everyone is holding up a bit of shopping ( Shops close
at 10.00 pm )
