Here are some of our most frequently asked questions and the answers, we do hope this helps you with your planning.

1. Q:What is included in the rate?
    A: Towels & linen are supplied as are body wash & shampoo conditioner ( pool towels can be hired @ RM 3.00 per towel per week ), a
    starter amount of coffee, tea bags, sugar, butter, jam & peanut butter is supplied along with Coco crunch & cornflakes breakfast cereal.
    ( Breakfast cereal supplied for the duration of your stay. )
    Available on request are squash & tennis racquets + balls, a basketball + table tennis bats & balls.
   
A free airport transfer ( Either pick up or departure ) is provided for all stays of 5 nights or more at the published rate.
  
 
2  Q: Is there internet?
    
A: Yes a computer is provided in the apartment with broadband wifi, the apartment is a part of a secure network, the network &
     password are provided in the information booklet, in the apartment..

3 Q: Is there Air-Con and a washing machine in the apartment?

    A: Yes 4 Air-Con units in total. 1 unit in each bedroom & 1 unit in the living room. Each apartment has a laundry room with a washing
    machine, clothes line, ironing board & iron.

4. Q: Can we get into the city centre and other locations using public transport?
    A: Yes a standard taxi will hold 4 occupants and will cost approx RM 9.00 - RM 11.00 for a ride to the twin towers, and approx RM
    13.00 -  RM 15.00 to bukit bintang the cities main shopping area. If there are small children that can sit on your lap some standard
    taxis will take up to 6 passengers. The sentul KTM train station is located in the park. A pleasant 10 -12 minute walk from the
    apartment. If you plan and book ahead we have the phone numbers for maxi taxi's that can carry up to 7 passengers.

    The buses will take you to china town ( i.e. petaling street ) & central market for under RM 2.00  per person, for a scenic trip into town
    the bus can be caught to chow kit monorail station for RM 1.00 & the monorail into bukit bintang for RM 2.10. Thus for as little as AUD
    $1.10 per person you can be in the heart of the city.

5. Q: Is the public transport reliable & frequent?
    A: Yes taxi's are plentiful & cheap & buses pass by frequently on the main road. The train every 10 minutes during peak hrs then every
    20 minutes.

6: Q: Are you close to K.L's main tourist attractions?
    A: Yes we are within 10Km of most of K.L's tourist attractions, our central location makes it easy to get in out and about Kuala Lumpur.
    Using the train we are 5 stations from the city centre, 4 stations from batu caves, 4 stations from K.L sentral & 5 stations from Mid
    Valley Mega Mall, one of K.L's largest shopping centres. We are an excellent option to consider for your holiday as we are close
    enough to the city centre that you can enjoy all the city has to offer and closer to many of the attractions than a city location. taxi's are 
    cheap with RM 15.00 ( $ 4.80 getting you to most K.L city destinations ) in fact with the money you save over getting a city apartment
    or two city hotel rooms you could easily be chauffeured around all day and still come out in front. Buses at the door take you to china
    town, (petaling Street ) central market, batu caves, chow kit, sogo, chow kit, K.L Zoo, local monorail station and many other K.L city
    destinations.

7. Q: Are there restaurants / eateries close by?  
    A: Yes we have a great range of eateries close by with food from all over the world, western, middle eastern (Halal), Chinese
    restaurants with Dim Sum, hawker stalls, restaurants with vegetarian dishes, Subway, Dominoes Pizza & Pizza Hut, Japanese
    restaurants, curry houses, Thai food, a hamburger stall, Steam boat, KFC, Malay hawker stalls etc etc Check out the eating locally

8. Q: We have family members with dietary problems, thus the need for an apartment with a kitchen, can we obtain fresh
     produce locally?

    A: Yes we have a local fresh produce market within easy walking distance where you can get fresh fruit, veggies, seafood & chicken.
    Next to the market is a 24hr curry house that has a sundry store and can supply other condiments that may not be in the market.

9. Q: Can you book airport transfers and tours for us?
    A: Yes we can and at discount rates. All guests staying at the advertised rate for stays of 5 nights or more receive one van for one
    free airport transfer either pick or departure. For guests staying less than 5 nights we can provide discounted airport transfers ( as
    much as RM 70.00 less ) than others using the same vans. Rates are RM 160.00 per van ( kia pregio ) if between 0700 hrs & 2400 hrs
    Otherwise  RM 200.00
    As for tours we can book a driver with van for a set fee rather than charging per person. Tours we help with on a regular basis include
    the Elephant Sanctuary, city tours and tours to Kuala Selangor & bukit melawati for the monkeys, dinner & the Fireflies. 

10. Q: How far away is Sunway lagoon?
      Sunway lagoon is approx 25 km or a 30 minute drive from our condo and the city centre, a taxi should cost approx RM 25.00 - RM    
      30.00 or a large van can be booked @ approx RM 60.00 per journey. Please note Sunway lagoon is closed every Tuesday for
      Maintenance. It's easy to catch the train there from the park, only 11 stations to Subang jaya station where a  free shuttle bus meets
      the train and takes you the rest of the way. @ RM 2.30 per adult & RM 1.20 per child it's easy on the pocket too.

11. Q: Is there a discount bus service to the airport near the apartment?
      A: Yes. The star shuttle bus service departs and arrives just down the road from the condo. The cost RM 10.00. Duration of the
      journey approx 1hr 20 minutes.
   
12. Q: Can you do a day trip to genting highlands?
      A: Yes you can. Genting is approx 1 & 1/2 hrs drive away, you can book a van to the awana sky way cable car 1/2 way up the
      mountain for approx RM 170.00 and catch the cable car for the rest of the journey @ RM 5.00 per person. ( Recommended as the
      views are fantastic. ) Or to the top of the mountain for RM 200.00
      A discount bus service is available from Pekeliling Street bus  depot ( 2km away ) @ RM 6.60 per adult & RM 3.60 per child. Be
      prepared and bring warm clothing. The average yearly temperature for Genting is between 14 & 25 degrees so it can be fairly cool.

13. Q: Should we change our money at home or in Malaysia?
      A: Generally speaking if you are waiting until leaving for Malaysia, the exchange rate will be better here than in your own country, if
      you need to change some $$$$ at the airport we recommend changing just enough for the 1st day or two. You will get a better rate at
      the local or city money changers.

14. Q: How do we get to K.L bird park from your condo?
      A: Catch the train to the old Kuala Lumpur Railway station ( 4 stations, RM 1.00 Adults & RM .50 cents per child  )
      The bird park, butterfly park, deer park, orchid gardens & hibiscus gardens are all located in Kuala Lumpurs lake gardens approx
      a 15 minute walk from the train station. Alternatively a taxi will cost approx RM 12.00 - RM 15.00

15. Q: What is the weather like, does Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia have a winter?
      A: Malaysia does not have a winter, the average daily temperature throughout the year in K.L is between 28 & 33 degrees Celsius.

16. Q: Do you have cot's, high chairs & prams for hire.
      A: Yes we do. All available @ RM 5.00 per night or per day per item.
