Kuala Lumpur is a fantastic place with a great many
thing to do whilst you are in town, so get involved, get
busy and have a great time.
Some suggestions would be, the
hop on hop off bus the KL HOP-ON HOP-OFF is an easy
city tour that has 22 stops which cover more than 40
attractions. All buses are equipped with nine (9)
different languages to choose from and a friendly
customer service officer will assist you on the bus.
Please note the web site states this is a free service.
It is not.
The charges are RM 38.00 per adult and RM 17.00 per
child. There are 22 stops that pass by more than 40 K.L
tourist destinations including the K.L bird & butterfly
parks at K.L lake gardens, the twin towers, china town,
central market and many more popular destinations. The
tickets are valid for 24hrs thus you can purchase at
1.00 pm one day and use the ticket up till 1.00 pm the
following day. |
Sunway lagoon is another popular destination with 5
theme parks and an international standard shopping
centre, there is something for everyone, The 5 themed
parks are the extreme park, water park, scream park,
amusement park and the wild life park. Tickets can be
purchased for just one or all parks, the all park ticket
represents the best value for money. If paying online at
lease 2 days before your visit you receive a discount
and the tickets are valid for up to 6 months. P.s there
is also an ice skating rink in the shopping centre. Just
11 stations away on the train. |
Ice City is an led lighting display in the city of
Sha Alam approx 20 minutes from the heart of K.L. It's a
magical place to go for some shopping, dinner and for
the kids to have a look around at all the light
sculptures. The display runs until Dec 31st 2011
entrance fee RM 10.00 per person

K.L lake gardens is a huge site covering over 200
acres, within these grounds you will find the K.L bird
park, K.L Butterfly park, K.L deer park + the Hibiscus &
Orchid gardens, the national Museum a Planetarium, the
National Mosque & the Islamic Art Museum. There are
also
jogging tracks and a huge children's playground as well. |
K.L menara tower offers a few advantages over the
twin towers when taking pics of the city, 1st of all you
can get the twin towers in your pictures, 2ndly there is
no need to queue to get tickets and 3rdly there are other
activities on-site with the K.L animal zone, jungle
trekking in the forest surrounding the tower, the
cultural
village, a revolving restaurant, F1 formula racing
simulator zone and pony rides for the kids |
Central Market in the heart of K.l and the home of
arts & crafts. From the maket there is a free
Malaysia
Heritage Walk tour departing from the main gates at
10.30 am every day.

Selangor Pewter Here you can
visit the home of Pewter buy some gifts for family /
friends and the kids can have some fun whilst you
browse. For RM 68.00 the kids can get involved in the
WHACK N SNACK activity of making their own pewter
bowel
at the School of Hard Knocks. They will learn how to
make a pewter bowl using traditional tools, and will
keep their creation along with a certificate of
authentication. Then, tuck into a scrumptious meal of
two croissant sandwiches, and enjoy a cup coffee or tea
at The Cafe.

Roller Sports World The largest in-line skating
centre in Asia. Two location here in K.L one being at
Bangsar Shopping Centre, the other at Sungei Wang
Shopping Centre, Both approx a 10 minute taxi ride away. |
China Town or Petaling Street as it is known locally.
This is the place for a bargain, be it DVD'S, athletic
shoes, handbags, belts, electronics, watches, T shirts,
lighters, the list goes on and on, easy to get to as
well a taxi from our place approx RM 12.00 - 15.00 or
the bus for under RM 2.00 |
Mid Valley Mega Mall. Need to do some serious
shopping but cannot go without
the kids. No problem MId Valley has a great place for the
kids called
Mega Kidz. It's an indoor playground with jungle
gyms, slides & all sorts of fun things to keep them
occupied you can drop them, do the shopping and come
back to collect.There is an on-site cafe & kids
parties are catered for as well, and best of all mid
valley is easy to get to. Just 5 stops away on the
train. Also at mid valley there is 10 pin bowling, multi
screen cinema, a games centre @

Batu Caves ( just4 stations away on the train ) is a
religious site rising almost 100 m above the ground, the
Batu Caves temple complex consists of three main caves
and a few smaller ones. The biggest, referred to as
Cathedral Cave or Temple Cave, has a 100 m-high ceiling
and features ornate Hindu shrines. To reach it, visitors
must climb a steep flight of 272 steps.

Foot fish spa. There are many places to have a fish
spa in K.L, most shopping centres having them at the
moment, the fish eat away at the dead skin leaving you
feet feeling clean, fresh & soft. |
Little India in Brickfileds. While Indian music
blasts away on the street, visitors can soak in the
colourful sights of Little India – from flower garland
arrangements to multihued saris stacked on top of each
other in stores. Brickfields is home to a variety of
affordable eateries – most importantly the street is
popular for its authentic Indian fare especially
banana-leaf rice and thosai, Indian pancakes made from
fermented rice flour |
Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. ( K.L
Pac's ) Is located here in the park a short 5 minute
walk from the condo. K.L pacs is the home of performing
arts in Kuala Lumpur. Be it ballet, drama, music
lessonsor live theatre this is where it all happens in
K.L. Why not see if there is a show on whilst your in
town. ( june has baby siited for many of our guests
whilst they have a night at the theatre) |
